Description
All sign boards come as square edged with a bevel and 2 pre drilled holes (4 for plaques over 230mm wide), on each end please indicated your required location if different. We do a standard range of shapes, rectangular, square, bridge topped, oval and round. As extras you can have round ends, rounded corners or scalloped corners, along with standing or hanging signs. All of our lettering is CNC routered, meaning you can choose from a selection of fonts.We also offer coloured lettering. If you would like an image on your sign, please supply a copy of it in a PDF file – get in touch for more details.
The cost includes up to 8 characters of a suitable size for the space available. Any additional letters or numbers are at a cost of £1.25 each.
Double sided signs can be hand crafted for an additional cost of 75% of the original side.

We use sustainably sourced English Oak for our house signs because of it’s majestic qualities. It has wonderful variations in grain, texture and colour, combined with small knots and burrs providing an attractive feature. This heavy timber has a dense grain, it is strong and durable, with regular maintenance it will last a lifetime. OSMO’s UV Protection Wood Oil is used to finish our signs, this oil contains an active ingredient for the preventative protection against algae and fungal decay. As a stand-alone finish it blocks the greying process by UV-Protection factor 12 , in comparison to untreated wood. If you do not maintain the wood with a regular coating of this oil ,water will seep in and gradually turn the grain black.
If you would rather leave the oak untreated, the oak will soon ‘silver-down’ to a beautiful grey tone.

We will endeavour to get your new sign to you as soon as we can, however due to the fact that each sign is hand crafted ,you can expect to receive it within six weeks of ordering.
